Lesson and Notes
The Sunday School lesson this week is "Filled with the Holy Spirit," which is based on Acts 2:1-21. Jesus' followers are gathered together when the Holy Spirit comes in as a violent wind and tongues of fire. This is the story the children will hear on Pentecost. How is the Holy Spirit working in your life?
"Road Trip: On the Go with God" VBS will be June 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for PreK (4-years-old by 9/1/2020) children through fifth graders. Registration for VBS is at www.slvbs.us. The children will participate in music, recreation, story time, science, mission (service projects) and more. Space for VBS is almost full so register soon, if you are interested.

Logistics
The Sunday School children (PreK-5th graders) and teachers meet from 10-11 a.m. each Sunday. Sunday School meets in room 101 for a large group gathering before breaking into classes based on grade. While the kids are attending Sunday School, parents are invited to adult faith formation classes (Up for Discussion meets in the Media Center and a class with a pastor in the sanctuary) or to meet for coffee, tea, and treats and conversation with other parents and church members in the Fireside Room.
